Lent Season in Black
Dear Beloved Community,
On Thursdays, during Lent, I am
inviting you to join me in wearing Black clothing in solidarity with
the "Thursdays in Black," movement that is supported by the United
Nations and the World Council of Churches.
The
purpose of this movement is to highlight and oppose gender-based
violence wherever it is present in the world. The goal is to create a
work without rape and violence.
