Ride For Life Disciples
The STPC Discipleship group pedaled our way through a 9+ mile trek across Richmond in a community biking program for all to enjoy. This was an event presented by Rich City Rides, an inner city non-profit operation, which promotes positive social interaction, a healthier lifestyle, and a greener mode of transportation. We started in Unity Park, taking a leisurely, scenic route through the Marina district (with a couple of rest stops), our end stop being a car show and food truck rally, on the grounds of East Brother Brewing Co. near Point Richmond. Then returned to Unity Park afterward. For us "modern disciples,” the Rich City Rides event was a way to promote positive change within Richmond neighborhoods, while extending our faith and humanity to the people of our community. And just being able to get out in the open air was a delight. If you’d like to learn more about RCR, check out their website at click here > Rich City Rides
